License Administration

The View License table displays your licenses for the application.

For Cloud Licensing and Local Licensing, licenses with a feature count of zero are not shown in the table. Details for these licenses can be found in the Honeywell Software Licensing Portal.

You can also view information by clicking on the License Type link displayed on the upper right of most VoiceConsole screens.

The license determines the applications, products, and versions for which you can operate VoiceConsole and VoiceClient.

You must have a valid license in place before you can load device profiles, operators, or task packages onto devices. The license must support the total number of devices connecting to VoiceConsole, not the number of devices per site. That is, you only need one license to cover all of your sites, but that license must support the total of all devices at all of the sites. If you need to add more devices, contact Honeywell for a new license. The license must also support the version of VoiceCatalyst being loaded onto the devices.

Once the application is licensed, the license type is displayed at the top right of the application screen. You can click on the license type for details.

Watch for Honeywell communications regarding licensing. An email containing instructions for using the Honeywell Software Licensing Portal is sent to partners and Honeywell direct customers for Cloud and Local licensing. This email contains important details necessary to configure licensing. If you purchased through a partner, the partner provided your license details.
