Operators

VoiceConsole lets you manage all aspects of operator information on the Operators page. You also have the ability within VoiceConsole to send messages to one or more operators in the system.

From the View Operators table, you can click on an operator name, the name of an operator team, or a device name to view the properties for that data. Many of the fields below are also shown in the View Operators table.

Use Manage Filter to filter the items displayed.

The items shown in the table can be configured by clicking Add or Remove Columns.

Highlight one or more items and use Copy Selection to copy that information to the clipboard.

Display a printer-friendly version of the information by clicking Printable Version.

Operator Details

  • Operator Name: Name of the operator.

  • Operator ID: ID for the operator. Operator IDs are case sensitive.

    • By default special characters are not allowed in this field.
    • This field can be configured to allow email addresses.

  • Spoken Name: Name for the operator as spoken by the device.

  • Operator Number: A number that enables an operator to load templates onto a device by entering the number via a series of button presses on the device keypad.

  • Devices: Device to which the operator is assigned, and the task package that the operator is using on that device.

  • Task Packages: Task packages associated with the operator.

  • Sites: Sites to which the operator is assigned.

  • Templates: Number of templates trained by the operator.

  • Privacy Status: Operator privacy notice consent status. See Privacy Status

  • Privacy Status Last Updated: The date and time of the last privacy notice consent action.

  • Spoken Name: Spoken name for this operator.

  • Operator Number: Operator number assigned to this operator.

Additional Items

These additional items are displayed when viewing details for an operator.

  • Associated Voice: Voice associated with the operator.

  • Last Task Package Run: Task package last run by the operator.

  • Notes: Any notes associated with the particular operator.

  • Device Settings: Any advanced settings for the operator.

Privacy Status

Privacy notice consent information is displayed in the View Operators table. Consent details are also shown when viewing an individual operator details.

Privacy notice consent is mandatory in a VoiceConsole SaaS deployment. Privacy notice consent is optional in a VoiceConsole On Prem deployment and can be configured in Requires Operator Privacy Consent.

Displays the status of the operator acceptance of the Operator Privacy Notice:

  • Not Accepted: Privacy notice request has been generated but operator has not consented.

  • Accepted: Operator has consented to privacy notice. The consent may be provided via kiosk or on the device (when supported, see details above).

  • Expired: Operator consent has expired and operator must accept the privacy notice again. When a user has consented to the privacy notice that consent is valid for 18 months unless the user chooses to withdraw their consent.

  • Withdrawn: Operator has notified their supervisor to withdraw their consent to the privacy notice and the supervisor has completed the process.

  • Declined: When presented with the privacy notice consent screen on the device (when supported, see above), the operator clicks back to return to the prior screen without providing consent.
