Devices
Devices are the mobile wearable or handheld computers used by the operators. They perform speech recognition and speech output.
The list of Devices screen can be accessed by:
- From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Device Management tab.
- Under Navigation, click Devices.

Pagination: To improve performance on sites with many devices, the device list uses pagination. Use the controls at the bottom of the table to navigate pages, select the number of devices displayed per page, and view the number of entries in the table.
Device Details
The following details are available.

Device Name: User-defined name.

Task Compatibility: Type of task that the device can run based on the device type, VoiceClient or modules loaded.
If this field is blank, then the selected device does not have a VoiceClient or the necessary modules to run a task.

Type: Make and version of the device.

IP Address: The IP address of the device.
VoiceConsole displays the IP address, if available. There are some situations where the IP address may not be available:

Android 12 and later devices, especially in a VoiceConsole SaaS deployment, may instead display the client IP address of the request as it is made to VoiceConsole. In the case of a VoiceConsole SaaS deployment this is 127.0.0.6.

VoiceConsole On Prem deployments using a load balancer may display the IP address of the load balancer instead of the device IP address. This occurs when not configured to forward client IP address via headers.

Device Group: Device group, if any, to which the device belongs.

State: Current state of the device. Apps must be built from the indicated versions of DevKit to support the state on Android devices.

Operator Name: Name of the operator who is currently loaded onto the device.

Task Package: Task loaded on the device.

Action Items: List of all actions that have been initiated by the user but not yet completed by the device. This row also contains a link that enables the user to see all of the actions that have been completed for the device.

Logging State: Logging state of the device.

Default Voice: Default voice loaded onto device, either through a profile load or load voice to device action.

Site: The site to which the device is assigned.

MAC Address: The MAC address of the device.

Serial Number: Device serial number.

Active Voice: Voice currently in use on the device, either the default voice or a voice associated with the operator currently using the device.

Notes: Any notes associated with the particular device.

Power Adapter Version: The version of the power adapter connected, if any.

Credential State: The state of device credentials.

Device Profile: Profile loaded onto device. If only a configuration file (.cci) is loaded onto a device through TouchConfig or serial loading, the device profile is displayed as Mixed.
When viewing a selected device, this field only appears when a device has a profile loaded onto it. When this row is displayed, the VoiceClient Version row and the Configuration row does not appear on the page.

Last Message Timestamp: Date and time for the last message that the device communicated to the application.

On External Power: Indicates if the device is connected to external power.

Radio Type: Type of radio card in the device.

Honeywell International, Inc. VoiceClient Version: Version of firmware (VoiceCatalyst or VoiceClient) that is currently loaded onto the device. Only applicable for Talkman devices.

Operator ID: ID of the operator who is currently loaded onto the device.

Resident Voices: Voices currently loaded onto the device.
For VoiceConsoleOn Prem deployment, only T5m or later devices running VoiceClient 3.6 or later can have multiple resident voices.

Supported VoiceArtisan Task: VoiceArtisan tasks only. Versions of task supported with the VoiceClient.
Additional Device Details
The following additional information is displayed with the View selected device option.

Show Version Information: VoiceArtisan tasks only. Click the link to show Version information supplied by the voice application.

Configuration: This row only appears when a device does not have a profile loaded onto it. Use the l ink to view the device's current configuration.

Battery Serial Number: Serial number of the battery that is currently attached to the device.
This information is only available with certain Honeywell Voice devices.

Battery Part Number: Part number of the battery that is currently attached to the device.
This information is only available with certain Honeywell Voice devices.

Battery Run Time: Run time associated with the battery that is currently attached to the device.
This information is only available with certain Honeywell Voice devices. "Run time" is the length of time that the battery has been in use since being removed from a charger with a full charge until sounding the first low battery warning. If the battery was removed from the charger before it was fully charged, then the run time is not displayed.

Resident CAB Files: .cab files currently loaded onto the device.

Current Actions: List of all actions that have been initiated by the user but not yet completed by the device. This row also contains a link that enables the user to see details for the action.

Existing Logs: Any existing logs for the devices.

Bluetooth Enabled: Indicates if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

Bluetooth Headset Manual Pairing: Indicates if manual pairing is enabled for a Bluetooth headset.

Peripherals: All peripheral hardware paired with the device, including printers, headsets, and scanners.
