Setting Up Email Alerts for Critical Notifications

If you want critical notifications to be automatically emailed to one or more specific users, do the following for each user who should receive these email alerts:

1. Ensure that the user is assigned a role (See Roles) that grants the ability to view notifications.
2. Ensure that the user's email address is part of the user's record (See Users).
3. Ensure that the Outgoing SMTP host information is provided for the system configuration (See System Configuration).
