Import VoiceClient, Radio Firmware Files, or Languages

Voice files, radio firmware files, and languages are imported into VoiceConsole and are loaded onto Honeywell devices or third-party devices.

There are size limits for the files that can be imported into VoiceConsole. The size limits should not impact the loading of VoiceClient, radio, or language files. Contact customer support if this limit prevents file loading.

Import VoiceClient Files

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Device Management tab.
  2. Under Navigation, click VoiceClient. 
  3. Under VoiceClient Actions, select Import VoiceClient.
    The Select File page opens.
  4. Click Browse, and navigate to and select the file to import.
  5. Enter any notes that you want regarding the imported file.
  6. Click Next.
    The Select Languages page opens.
    If you imported a VoiceClient that already exists in the application, a row labeled Previously Imported Languages displays the languages that were selected the last time that the file was imported.
  7. Select the languages to import.
  8. Click Next.
    The Select Sites page opens.
  9. If there are multiple sites set up in your system, select the sites at which this VoiceClient is to be available.
  10. Click Next.
    The License Agreement page opens.
  11. Read the license agreement thoroughly, and click I accept the terms of this license agreement.

Import Radio Firmware Files

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Device Management tab.
  2. Under Navigation, click VoiceClient.
  3. Under VoiceClient Actions, select Import VoiceClient.
    The Select File page opens.
  4. Click Browse, and navigate to and select the file to import.
  5. Enter any notes that you want regarding the imported file.
  6. Click Next.
    The Select Sites page opens.
  7. If there are multiple sites set up in your system, you are prompted to select the sites at which this VoiceClient is to be available.
  8. Click Next.
    The License Agreement page opens.
  9. Read the license agreement thoroughly, and click I accept the terms of this license agreement.

Import Languages

Additional languages may be added by importing the same VOS file that has been previously imported. For a list of supported languages, see Supported TTS Engines for VoiceConsole (V 4.X).

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Device Management tab.
  2. Under Navigation, click VoiceClient.
  3. Under VoiceClient Actions, select Import VoiceClient.
    The Select File page opens.
  4. Click Browse, and navigate to and select the file to import.
  5. Enter any notes that you want regarding the imported file.
  6. Click Next.
    The Select Languages page opens.
  7. Select the languages to import.
  8. Click Next.
    The License Agreement page opens.
  9. Read the license agreement thoroughly, and click I accept the terms of this license agreement.
