VoiceConsole Hybrid Deployment Basics

Basics of an Hybrid Deployment

  • The customer is responsible for the environment such as with an On Prem deployment.
  • The core VoiceConsole functionality is handled locally in the customer-managed environment.
  • The Hybrid deployment allows the user to access analytics like Honeywell Operational Intelligence and Forge Performance+.

Throughout this document, references to VoiceConsole On Prem deployments are assumed to also apply to VoiceConsole Hybrid deployments.

Plan for an Hybrid Deployment

The planning is similar to an On Prem deployment with the consideration that bandwidth to the cloud is only an issue for the analytic functions.

Initial Access

When VoiceConsole 6.2 is first accessed it is necessary to visit the Configure License page and select a license option. After a license option is selected, the appropriate license actions are displayed. Follow the instructions at the link above for the selected option to ensure VoiceConsole is licensed.

Updating VoiceConsole Software

When updates are available the user must plan for and install these updates. See Prepare to Upgrade VoiceConsole On Prem Deploymentas this same provess must be followed in a Hybrid deployment.
