Edit Operator Properties

Use caution when editing an operator ID because applications at your site other than VoiceConsole may depend on the operator ID, and changing this ID may have serious consequences, resulting in work delays.

An operator username and operator name in VoiceConsole must be the same on the LDAP server for the operator to be able to connect to the network. If a username and password are changed, the operator must log into VoiceConsole using the new name.

Operators may change passwords to the same passwords that they are currently using.

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Operator Management tab.

  2. Under Navigation, click Operators.

  3. In the View Operators list, select the operator that you want to edit.
  4. Under Operator Actions, select Manage Operators > Edit selected operator.

    The Edit Operator page opens.

  5. Click in the field of the property to be changed.

    The format for the Operator ID is determined in System Configuration.

  6. Delete the existing information in the fields, if necessary, and enter the new information.
  7. Click Save changes.
