Create Operators
When a new operator is created, the operator must review and provide consent to the end user Operator Privacy Notice in a VoiceConsoleSaaS deployment. This feature is optional in a VoiceConsoleOn Prem deployment.
VoiceConsole only tracks the operator consent. VoiceConsole does not limit any operator functions based on consent. However, mobile voice devices may check that the operator has completed the privacy consent within VoiceConsole) (when required) and can block the operator from certain functions until consent is provided. For more information on this functionality on mobile devices, see DevKit Release Notes for Android devices and VoiceCatalyst Release Notes for A700x and A700XP devices.
- From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Operator Management tab.
- Under Navigation, click Operators.
- Under Operator Actions, select Create new operator.
The Create Operator page opens. - Enter the appropriate information for the new operator. If available, select any operator teams to which the new operator should be added.
- Click Save and Create Another to save this information, and create another operator or Create operator.
If you have multiple sites configured, the operator is only created for the site that you are currently viewing.

Operator Privacy Consent

When consent is required:
-
A notification concerning the privacy notice is displayed to the user creating the operator. The notification must be confirmed to continue with the operator creation.
-
Upon creation, a status message is displayed at the top of the screen. This message contains the Operator Name and the One Time Password (OTP) unique for this operator. The privacy notice acceptance URL is the same for all operators.
-
See Operator Privacy Notice for details on operator consent.
-
Once generated, the OTP is valid for 2 hours. If it expires, a new OTP must be generated.
