Load Device Profiles onto Devices

1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Device Management tab.
2. Under Navigation, click Devices.
3. In the View Devices list, select the devices onto which you want to load profiles.
   The selected devices must all be the same type if you select multiple devices.
4. Under Device Actions, select Common Device Actions > Load profile to selected devices.
   The Load Device Profile dialog box opens.
5. From the drop-down list, select the profile to load to the devices.
6. Click Load profile to devices.

1. In the Search Options text box, type the name or serial number of the device. This option is not available from the Home tab.
   
2. Click Go.
• If only one device matches what you typed, then the properties page for that device appears.
• If more than one device matches what you typed, then a results page appears, from which you can select the desired device.
3. Under Device Actions, select Common Device Actions > Load profile to selected devices.
   The Load Device Profile dialog opens.
4. From the drop-down list, select the profile to load to the device.
5. Click Load profile to devices.

3. In the View Device Groups list, select the device groups containing the devices to which you want to load a device profile.

   If the devices in the selected device groups are not the same type, then the profile loaded to the device group only loads to the proper type of devices.

4. Under Device Group Actions select Common device group actions > Load profile to selected device groups.
   The Load Device Profile dialog box opens.
5. From the drop-down list, select the profile to load to the devices.
6. Click Load profile to device groups.

1. In the Search Options text box, type the name of the device group.
   

   This option is not available from the Home tab.

2. Click Go.
• If only one device group matches what you typed, the properties page for that device group appears.
• If more than one device group matches what you typed, a results page appears, from which you can select the desired device group.
3. Under Device Actions, select Common device group actions > Load profile to selected devices groups.
   The Load Device Profile dialog box opens.
4. From the drop-down list, select the profile to load to the devices in the device group.
5. Click Load profile to device groups.

A scheduled job can be run automatically or manually to load the device profile. See Run Selected Job to enable this job. By default, this job is disabled.

Schedule the job during a time of low usage.

This job loads the site's default profile on any device that is not in compliance that meets the following requirements:

• The device type matches the default profile type.
• Device is reported as in charger.

The Maximum Device Profile Load Allowed property is set in System Configuration. The default is 30 and this is the recommended maximum. Honeywell recommends reducing this value if the job is to run while the server is in use for other functions.

Once this job has been run, it cannot be run again for two hours. The delay is imposed if the job was ran manually or as a scheduled job.
