Export Data

Contact Honeywell Support to do either of the following:

  • Export from one instance to another instance of VoiceConsole.
  • Migrate to a VoiceConsole SaaS deployment from a VoiceConsole On Prem deployment.

If you are exporting operators only, follow the procedures in Export Operators and Templates and Export Operator Team for a smaller and more selective export.

You can export certain data from VoiceConsole in a format that can then be read and imported into a new or different instance of VoiceConsole.

To export data:

  1. Under Administration, click Export Data.
    The Export Data page opens.
  2. Select the sites from which you want to export data.
    Click Next.
  3. Select the data categories you want to export.
    Click Next.
  4. The next page shows the administration data being exported, and the count of each item. It also shows each site and the count of each item being exported.
    Click Next.
  5. The next page shows all VoiceClient .vos files associated with the data being exported. You can download them by clicking the VoiceClient name.
    Click Finish.

You will be unable to interact with VoiceConsole while export is processing. Click Cancel to stop the export process.

A compressed (.zip) file is created containing the data you selected.

Data Not Exported or Imported

Due to privacy concerns, the following information is not included in the export file. If it somehow is exported, the import process will block it from being imported:

Export files can be large. Export only the necessary items.
