Export Operators and Templates

VoiceConsole enables you to export operator information (name, spoken name, operator ID, and operator number), notes, settings, and templates for one or more operators from one VoiceConsole system to another. This process eliminates the need for operators to retrain templates when they are moved from one VoiceConsole system to another.

Export One or More Operators and Templates

If selecting a large number of operators, an HTTP 400 error can occur. If this happens, either use the "Export all operators option" or select fewer operators and export in multiple batches.

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Operator Management tab.
  2. Under Navigation, click Operators.
  3. In the View Operators list, select the operators that you want to export.
  4. Under Operator Actions, select Move Operators > Export selected operators.
    A File Download dialog box opens.
  5. In the File Download dialog box, click Save.
  6. Enter a name, and select a destination for the .zip file that contains the exported information.
  7. Click Save.

The information, settings, and templates for the selected operators are exported to a .zip file to the destination that you specified.

Export All Operators and Templates 

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Operator Management tab.
  2. Under Navigation, click Operators.
  3. Under Operator Actions, select Move Operators > Export all operators.
    A File Download dialog box opens.
  4. In the File Download dialog box, click Save.
  5. Enter a name, and select a destination for the .zip file that contains the exported information.
  6. Click Save.

The information, settings, and templates for the all of the operators at the site are exported to a .zip file to the destination that you specified.

Export Selected Operators and Templates on Selected Operator Teams 

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Operator Management tab.
  2. Under Navigation, click Operator Teams
  3. In the View Operator Teams list, select the operator teams that contain the operators that you want to export.
  4. In the View Operators list, select the operators that you want to export.
  5. Under Operator Actions, select Move Operators > Export selected operators.
    A File Download dialog box opens.
  6. In the File Download dialog box, click Save.
  7. Enter a name, and select a destination for the .zip file that contains the exported information.
  8. Click Save.

The information, settings, and templates for the selected operator teams' operators are exported to a .zip file to the destination that you specified.

Exporting All Operators and Templates on Selected Operator Teams

  1. From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Operator Management tab.
  2. Under Navigation, click Operator Teams
  3. In the View Operator Teams list, select the operator teams that you want to export.
  4. Under Operator Team Actions, select Move Operator Teams > Export operators from selected teams.
    A File Download dialog box opens.
  5. In the File Download dialog box, click Save.
  6. Enter a name, and select a destination for the .zip file that contains the exported information.
  7. Click Save.

The information, settings, and templates for the selected operator teams' operators are exported to a .zip file to the destination that you specified.
