BlueStreak speech recognition requires each user to train templates to recognize the user's voice.

Pick Up & Go speech recognition allows the user to start working without training to the user's voice. Template training is optional.

Which Is Better?

There are advantages to each type of speech recognition.

For example, Pick Up & Go speech recognition allows a new operator to start working right away because training is not required. However, Pick Up & Go speech recognition is only available for some languages and devices. See more details here.

BlueStreak speech recognition is available for all voice devices in all languages supported on those devices. If a user has recognition problems, they can retrain the BlueStreak templates to improve recognition. See more details here.

An Enterprise Voice or a VoiceConsole license must be requested to use the Pick Up & Go voice recognizer. If Pick Up & Go is not properly licensed, VoiceCatalyst uses the BlueStreak recognizer. Contact your customer service representative and/or see more details about VoiceConsole Feature Licensing.
