  • VoiceCatalyst 4.2 or later. is required to support PnG for US English only.
  • VoiceCatalyst 4.3 or later is required to support PnG languages other than US English.
  • VoiceCatalyst 4.5 or later is required to support trainabilty for PnG.
The following versions of VoiceConsole are required to support licensing for PnG languages other than US English:
  • Enterprise Voice licensing requires VoiceConsole 5.3 ECS008 or later
  • VoiceConsole based feature licensing requires VoiceConsole 5.5 or later

Determines which speech recognition engine is used.

Valid Values

  • BlueStreak - Uses BlueStreak speech recognition. Users must train templates.
  • PnG - Uses Pick Up & Go (PnG) speech recognition. Template training is optional.

Languages Supported

BlueStreak recognition supports all languages available on the device.

Refer to the Speech Recognition Guide for a list of supported PnG languages.

If Pick Up & Go is selected for an unsupported language, the device reverts to BlueStreak recognition.
