This parameter requires VoiceCatalyst 4.2 or greater. VoiceCatalyst 4.3 or greater is required to support PnG languages other than US English. VoiceCatalyst 4.5 or greater is required to support trainabilty for PnG.

Description

Determines which speech recognition engine is used.

Valid Values

• BlueStreak - Uses BlueStreak speech recognition. Users must train templates.
• PnG - Uses Pick Up & Go (PnG) speech recognition. Template training is optional.

Languages Supported

BlueStreak recognition supports all languages available on the device.

Refer to the Speech Recognition Guide for a list of supported PnG languages.

If Pick Up & Go is selected for an unsupported language, the device reverts to BlueStreak recognition.
