Description

You have two options as to when an operator's preferred voice is loaded automatically onto a device:

1. An operator's preferred voice (if associated) is loaded immediately when the operator connects the headset to a device so that the only words that the device speaks to the operator are in the operator's preferred voice (native language).
2. An operator's preferred voice is not immediately loaded when the operator connects the headset to a device. In this scenario, operators are prompted to confirm their identity before the operator's templates and voice are loaded. The operator can cancel the voice load and perform tasks in the voice previously loaded onto the device. This can be used in cases when a headset needs to be reassigned to another operator.

When this parameter is enabled, an operator's preferred voice is not immediately loaded when operators connect the headset to a device and are prompted to confirm their identity before the operator's templates and voice are loaded. Operators can cancel the voice load and perform tasks in the voice previously loaded onto the device. Operators must then load themselves as the operator through the device menu using the buttons on the device or through VoiceConsole.

When this parameter is disabled, an operator's preferred voice is loaded immediately when operators connect their headset to a device so that the only words that the device speaks to the operator are in the operator's preferred voice.

AutoOperatorPromptEnable parameter must be enabled (set to 1) to use this parameter. If the AutoOperatorPromptEnable parameter is disabled, this parameter is ignored.

Valid Values

• 0 = Prompt operators to confirm their identity after their preferred voice is loaded
• 1 = Prompt operators to confirm their identity before their preferred voice is loaded, giving them an opportunity to cancel an unnecessary voice load
