Creating and Editing Groups

With the appropriate permissions, create and edit list item groups and list item entries.

  1. In the VoiceForm Editor, navigate to the List Items page.
  2. Click the appropriate action link.
    • To add a new group, click Create new list item group.
    • To edit an existing group, select the group in the table and click Edit selected list item group.
  3. Complete the required fields, and add list items to the group.
  4. Click Create list item group or Save changes.

An existing group cannot be modified if it is referenced by a VoiceForm step.

Field Description
Group Code Unique code for the list item group.
Description Brief summary to identify the list item group when viewed in the user interface.
List Items Table
Code Unique code for the item.
Text

Trained vocabulary that can be spoken or selected by a technician when performing a multiple list selection step during an inspection.

Deleting Groups

To delete list item groups, select one or more groups in the table and click the Delete selected list item group action link.

A group cannot be deleted if it is referenced by a VoiceForm step.
