Install the Mobile Application

The Guided Work mobile application directs workers through various workflows. Workers can use voice, the internal scanner, or the screen to input data.

Install on Android Devices

Do not install Honeywell applications on rooted devices.

  1. On the Android device, select Settings.
  2. Under Personal, select Security.
  3. Under Device Administration > Unknown Sources, select the Allow installation of apps from unknown sources check box.
  4. Copy app name-version.apk to your PC.
  5. Connect the device to your PC using a USB cable.

    "USB charging this device" may appear in notifications. If the "Use USB to" prompt appears, select "Transfer files." This setting must be enabled for the device to be recognized in Windows explorer.


  6. Browse to the device with Windows Explorer.
  7. Select Internal Storage.
  8. If using a Honeywell device, copy the APK file to honeywell\autoinstall.
  9. Restart the device.
    The app is installed.
  10. Open the application.
  11. Tap the menu button.
  12. Select Settings.
  13. Follow the steps in Configure the Mobile Application to set up the application for first time use.
