Honeywell Voice for Manhattan Active Experience
Global Commands
Once signed in, operators can speak the following commands at any point in the workflow:
“control help”: Hear an explanation of what can be spoken at the current workflow step.
“say again”: Hear the last spoken utterance.
“control standby”: Pause the workflow.
“logout”: Log out of system.
“exit”: Exit the current workflow.
“navigate back”: Navigate to the previous workflow step.
Toggles
When on a workflow step that allows you to toggle to a different entry (e.g., Task/Container), you are able to speak or select from the overflow menu the name of the other entry. For example, if your workflow step allows you to toggle between Task and Container entry, the operator is prompted “Enter Task,” but can speak or select “Container” to toggle to that entry.
Barcode Verification
When verifying a system directed barcode or ID, the operator is told the barcode or a descriptor and asked to enter a value for verification. The operator can speak the last n characters of the barcode where n is configured from Manhattan Active. The operator can also scan the full barcode.
Location Verification by Check Digit
When verifying a system directed location by check digit, the operator is told the location and asked to enter the check digit for verification. The operator can speak the full check digit.
Locations Spelled Phonetically
Locations are spelled phonetically in prompts.
User-Directed Barcode Entry
When a workflow step requires a user-directed barcode entry, the operator is required to scan or type the barcode instead of speaking.
Selecting from a List
When a workflow step requires the operator to select an item from a list, the operator can speak or select the desired item. The operator can also speak “options” to have the items spoken to them one at a time. They can then choose whether to select each item by speaking “yes” or “no.”
