Users

Under the Administration tab, click Users.

VoiceConsole provides security in the form of user accounts and roles.

• User accounts provide a unique user name and password for each person who logs in to the VoiceConsole user interface.
• Roles define a set of permissions - exactly which pages a user can view and what actions a user is allowed to do on each page in the application.

Access Control

To secure user access, you must first create a user account for each VoiceConsole user. Next, you must assign specific roles to the user accounts. The users are then authorized for access only to the features that are granted by their role(s).

Two default users, both assigned the Administrator role, are provided with the system:

• admin
• vocollect

On this page, you can select a user in the table and click View selected user to see details of that account.
