Renaming Devices
Honeywell assigns a serial number to every wearable computer (device) before it is shipped. When a device first appears in the application, the default device name defaults to this serial number. You can, however, change the device names to names more meaningful to your site or operation.
The device's serial number cannot be changed.
- From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Device Management tab.
- Under Navigation, click Devices.
- In the View Devices list, select the devices that you want to rename.
- Under Device Actions, select Manage Devices > Rename selected devices.
The Rename Devices page opens.
- Delete the existing name and enter the new name.
- Click Save Changes.
