View Dialog between a Device and an Operator
You can view the current dialog between an operator and a Honeywell Voice device through the VoiceConsole interface on a computer screen or mobile device screen. Viewing the dialog may make it easier for your operators to train templates; it may also help you troubleshoot recognition issues. The Honeywell Voice device must be running VoiceClient 3.5 or later or running VoiceCatalyst to display dialog.
Users do not hear prompts when training with the Dialog Display feature enabled.
HTTPS Communications
The dialog display uses the existing keystore when using HTTPS communications.
If using a custom keystore, the keystore file name and password must be configured using server.properties. The file location is hard-coded to the default value (tomcat/webapps/VoiceConsole/.keystore), and must remain the same for the display dialog feature to work with HTTPS. In case of any changes related to keystore file name and password, server.cert.fileName and server.cert.password properties in the server.properties file have to be updated accordingly
View Dialog From the VoiceConsole User Interface
- From the VoiceConsole tab, select the Device Management tab.
- Under Navigation, click Devices.
- In the View Devices list, select the device for which you want to display the dialog.
- Under Device Actions, select Display dialog for selected device.
The Launch Dialog Display dialog box opens. - Select Log dialog to device log if you want the dialog to be saved and viewable on the View Device Logs page.
- Click Launch dialog display.
A browser window opens displaying the dialog between the operator and a device.
Having multiple Dialog Display windows open at the same time as VoiceConsole on the same machine could cause VoiceConsole to become unresponsive. If VoiceConsole becomes unresponsive for this reason, close the windows displaying dialog. VoiceConsole should become responsive again.
