Configure Battery Threshold

The battery health on the View Accessories page is determined by thresholds set in VoiceConsole. Multiple thresholds can be defined for each battery type, but only one threshold per type can be assigned to a particular site. You may want to change battery thresholds from the default settings if a battery type is running at a shorter-than-desired amount of time before the Replace Now notification appears (decrease the threshold), or if the Replace Now notification appears before the battery is expected to reach the threshold (increase). When an A700/A700x battery cannot be identified, the device provides one warning with a clean shut-down. The runtime of these batteries may not last a full shift, depending upon environmental conditions.

Battery health thresholds can only be configured for A700/A700x and SRX2/SRX3 batteries.

1. Click the Device Management tab.
2. Under Navigation, click Accessories.
3. Under Accessory Actions, click Configure Battery Threshold.
   The Configure Battery Thresholds page opens.
4. Choose the type of battery from the Battery Type field. The default values are populated for the applicable health parameters.
5. If you want to set different thresholds, change the values.
6. Select the sites to which these values should apply.
