Edit Selected Role

For each role, you can grant access to specific features by checking them. The role does not have access to perform any unchecked feature. If you grant the ability to perform an action on a page, you must also grant the ability to view that page.

For VoiceConsole On Prem deployment, if you add a new role or change role privileges in a clustered implementation, you must reboot all the application servers in the cluster for that information to be updated in all the systems.

  1. Under Administration, navigate to the Operator Management tab.
  2. Under the Administration tab, click Roles.
  3. In the View Roles list, select the role that you want to edit.
  4. Under Role Actions, select Edit selected role.
    The Edit Role page opens.
  5. Modify existing information in the fields, if necessary, and enter the new information.
  6. Click Save changes.

An Administrator role cannot be edited.
