Voice Template Training

Template training is optional for Pickup & Go (PnG) speech recognition but is required when using BlueStreak recognition. More details are in the Speech Recognition Guide.

The procedure in which Honeywell Voice is trained to recognize a particular operator's speech is called enrollment or voice template training. This training is necessary for a device to recognize a word or phrase spoken by that operator. The operator repeats each word used to perform the task several times. The length of the process depends on the number of words to be trained. At the end of voice template training, Honeywell Voice creates and saves a file in VoiceConsole so it is available to the operator regardless of the device used.
