Default Voice
Purchased devices prior to the A700 are preloaded with a default voice in the language that the customer ordered. A customer can choose to continue using this pre-loaded voice as the default or specify another voice in VoiceConsole as their site’s default voice. A700/A700x devices have only the operating system loaded; so the voice must be loaded when the customer receives the device.
The default voice is used when:
- An operator using a headset without an associated Voice uses a device.
- An operator using a headset without an operator/headset association uses a device.
