Retraining Templates
Retraining templates is the process of going through the template training process to retrain, or create new templates, for words that are not being recognized well or at all. Template retraining can be performed using either of the two modes described above.
Verifying that retraining occurred
Occasionally operators may say that they have retrained a word when they have not retrained it. It is often beneficial to verify that the operator has retrained the word (Many operators do not know how to initiate update training). You can verify whether and when most words were retrained by looking at the timestamp of the template in VoiceConsole. However, it is not possible to tell when the operator last retrained the template for words that are adapted (generally just the digits), because the timestamp reflects the last time the template was changed, (either trained or adapted).
Forcing the operator to retrain
An operator can be forced to retrain a word or words with which he is having trouble by deleting the operator’s template from the server and reloading the operator profile onto the device. The device will force the operator to train the missing word(s) before using the system.
