BlueStreak_Decode_Sensitivity_<word>

Description

Adjusts the sensitivity of specific vocabulary words. You may want to adjust specific words to:

  • Increase the sensitivity of a word; so that the recognizer must be more confident in what the user spoke to reduce the likelihood of insertions
    or
  • Decrease the sensitivity of a word; so that the recognizer may accept a word spoken with less confidence. This may increase insertions but also reduces the need to repeat the word.

For infrequently used command words, Honeywell recommends a setting between 1 to 2, which should significantly reduce insertions but only slightly increase rejected words. If it is very important that a word not be inserted (for example, short product), you can increase this setting further. However, a setting higher than 3 is likely to result in the operator having to repeat words frequently. Contact your Honeywell Support representative if additional assistance is needed with determining proper settings.

When set, this parameter overrides the BlueStreak_Decode_Sensitivity parameter.

If the vocabulary word that you are disabling includes a space, replace it with "_" in the parameter name. For instance, when increasing the sensitivity for the vocabulary word "sign off", the parameter would be entered "BlueStreak_Decode_Sensitivity_sign_off=2".
