PnG_Decode_Sensitivity_<vocabword>
This parameter requires VoiceCatalyst 4.2 or greater.
Description
Adjusts the sensitivity of specific vocabulary words, where <word> is a vocabulary word from the app. You may want to adjust specific words to:
- Increase the sensitivity of a word; so that the recognizer must be more confident in what the user spoke to reduce the likelihood of insertions
or - Decrease the sensitivity of a word; so that the recognizer may accept a word spoken with less confidence. This may increase insertions but also reduces the need to repeat the word.
For infrequently used command words, Honeywell recommends a setting between 1 to 2, which should significantly reduce insertions but only slightly increase rejected words. If it is highly important that a word not be inserted (for example, short product) you can increase this setting further. However, a setting higher than 3 is likely to result in the operator having to repeat words frequently. Contact your Honeywell Support representative if additional assistance is needed with determining proper settings.
Parameters with a vocabword tag are passing a vocabulary word from the app. Unlike <word>, which is used for pronunciation control, <vocabword> may not be the vocab word's display string. It must be the actual word from the app.
If the vocabulary word that you are disabling includes a space, replace it with an underscore (_) in the parameter name.
