Starting and Stopping Exports

You may be able to start and stop exporting, depending on your role(s). 

Exporting is started by default. Stopping exports halts the sending of assignments to the host system. Users can still submit assignments, but the system will not send them to the host until exports have been restarted.

 Stopping exports can reduce maintenance overhead during host system downtime.

1. On the Exports page, click Start Exporting to start or Stop Exporting to stop.
   The system may take a few seconds to respond to your request. Subsequent requests to start or stop exporting during this process may result in a warning message.

If you stop exporting and do not manually start it again, it will restart itself when the server is rebooted.
