Honeywell LNX3 Printer

This method is supported on A700x.

When pairing a Talkman device with a printer, the Talkman device is the initiator (or may also be referred to as the host). The Talkman device initiates the connection to the printer and, if disconnected, the Talkman device manages the reconnection. The printer is the acceptor. This may also be referred to as VoiceConsole pairing.

Configure LNX3 Printer

  1. With the printer on, press any button to activate the display.

  2. Press the left button to open the display menu.

  3. Use the left and or right buttons to navigate to the desired menu.

  4. Press the info button to s elect the menu option.

  5. Select Setting iconPrint Settings.

  6. Set Command Set to Autosense.

Configure Task and VoiceConsole

  1. Set the following advanced parameter in Task config: printerport = bt_print

  2. Turn on Bluetooth on the A700x device.

  3. View the properties of the A700x device and ensure Bluetooth is enabled. If it is not enabled, click Edit this device and set Bluetooth Enabled to "enabled".

  4. Select Pair this device with a peripheral.

  5. For Pairing type select "Bluetooth Printer".

  6. For Connection Mode select "Device initiates connection with peripheral".

  7. In the Bluetooth Address field enter the Bluetooth MAC address of the printer. This 12-character ID is found:

    • From the LNX3 display under Bluetooth

    • The Bluetooth MAC address may also be displayed on the device label.

  8. If using security:

    • For Security select "Enabled"

    • The default key for LNX3 is “000000”

    • The printer Pin code can be found by printing a self test page

  9. Click Pair with peripheral to initiate pairing.
